Matterport 3D

We can create Matterport 3D virtual tours with the same high image quality camera system that we use for Google Street View tours. It uses APS-C cameras shot in RAW format, with bracketing and HDR processing for higher dynamic range. We also adjust color balance and exposure, and reduce chromatic aberration. The extra quality from the additional processing is something which automatic systems cannot achieve.

We can also make both a Matterport and Google Street View tour for you with the same panorama images. The Matterport tour will require 30% more panorama images compared to what is needed in Street View, in order to successfully build the Matterport 3D model. If you want to have both, you will need to indicate this so that the requirements are taken into consideration.

If you require a more dimensionally accurate Matterport 3D model, the Matterport Pro2 camera captures 3D depth data using infrared emitters and sensors. However, the image processing is automatic with the Matterport Pro2 camera and cannot be edited. Please ask us if you prefer to use the Matterport camera.
